Guifre Tort built a successful career as an Art Director and Production Designer in the movie industry, where he saw the opportunity to found PrePro, Puerto Rico’s first Production Guide. He tackled bigger challenges such as energy generation (where he was granted two US Patents), founded the first Puerto Rican crowdfunding platform, and developed incubation facilities for students, inventors and entrepreneurs (by Co-Founding the University of the Secret Heart's Innovation Center). In 2018, he Co-founded Bluetide Puerto Rico, Inc. to which the Economic Development Administration (EDA) awarded a $9.2 million Federal Grant for the development of the Blue Economy in the Caribbean.
